Get a Brighter, Whiter Smile!
Teeth Whitening is a popular cosmetic procedure that brightens your natural tooth color.
In the treatment, a whitening gel is applied to your teeth that creates a chemical reaction that breaks apart staining compounds and discoloration.
The whitening gel contains an active ingredient, most often carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide which helps remove both deep and surface stains.
A targeted light is also applied to the teeth in order to safely accelerate the whitening process and provide improved results.
The result is a brighter, whiter smile!

What are the risks
Although teeth whitening treatments are inherently safe, some of the potential complications of this treatment include, but are not limited to tooth sensitivity, gum/lip irritation. In most cases, any side effects are temporary in nature or can be resolved quickly.
Although most natural teeth can benefit from a teeth whitening treatment, everyone’s teeth are different and results will vary.
Typically, clients will see teeth become 4-8 shades whiter. People with yellowish teeth generally get the best results and if teeth have spots due to tetracycline use (grayish tint) or fluorosis, these will be difficult to whiten.
Also, artificial teeth, caps, crowns, veneers, porcelain, composite, or other restorative materials, will not see dramatic results as teeth whitening only works on natural teeth.
